HAL
LI CASSER-JAYNE ......

has been a working artist for twenty-five years. Expressing herself creatively as an actress, photographer, radio personality, foreign correspondent, documentary producer, publisher and editor, it was through writing that she discovered the heart of her artistic soul. A student of The New School and Shepherd University, she has traveled the globe with her camera concentrating her eye on the lives of the less advantaged. With her pen she has chronicled the world of the disadvantaged.  Through THE OKUSOBOKA FUND she is dedicated to the building of a Technical Training School in the heart of Uganda.

When not traveling, Halli lives on a horse farm in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains where she oversees her political blog, THE CJ POLITICAL REPORT. A student of history, her book STILL LIFE images of ANTIETAM chronicles the bloodiest day in American history. Her recent novel, MAMBO! A CONVERSATION WITH THE GODS is the haunting tale of reporter  Sydney Gordon whose quest to uncover the mystery of the missing Jorge Petro-Brain leads to a journey of self-discovery and a love affair she won't soon forget. Haunting, powerful, violent, passionate, Mambo! A Conversation with the Gods, by Halli Casser-Jayne.

Her newest book, A YEAR IN MY PAJAMAS WITH PRESIDENT OBAMA, The Politics of Strange Bedfellows takes a sassy, provocative, fun, thoughtful look at Election 2008.
